Rene joined Security One in 2015 and is responsible for the southeastern region, Florida and Georgia.

Rene started his career in the contract security industry in 1985 and has more than 31 years of experience. He possesses excellent leadership abilities and focuses on understanding each customer’s unique needs.

Rene has developed security programs for the following vertical markets: Residential Communities & Condominiums, Commercial Real Estate, Transportation & Logistics, Retail Shopping Malls, Hospitals & Healthcare providers, Financial Institutions, and Hospitality & Hotel
security.

Rene has accreditations from the Federal Transportation Association Certification, Department of Homeland Security Certification, State of Florida Firearms Instructor, Florida Security & Investigative Agency Mangers License, and Georgia State Board of Security Agency License.

Rene is involved with several Professional affiliations Miami-Dade County Chiefs of Police, American Society of Industrial Security Florida Association of Security Companies (FASCO)

Former Vice President, National Sheriffs’ Association, Florida Sheriffs’ Association, National Association Chiefs of Police, Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), Homeland Security Private Industry Board, Palm Beach Chapter, National Rifle Association, Community Association Institute (CAI), Latin Builders Association (LBA) and International Association of Healthcare Safety and Security (IAHSS).

Rene and his wife Diamonds have two sons and two daughters.
